We calculate the square footage of the roof and related products installed on the roof. Using those measurements, we can then calculate an estimate based on labor and material costs at that given time.

Snow guards are a good way to stop melting snow from sliding down your slate or tile roof. Rail type snow guards made from bronze brackets and brass rails can act like a fence at the bottom of the roof which also retains the snow mass from sliding. Either style performs the same function.
You just need them on when there is snow on the roof and the temperature is above 20 degrees. Otherwise save the electricity.

  • Your roof already has more than one layer
  • Ice dams are common in your area, or the average January temperature is below freezing and the old roof has no ice or water protection membrane.
