Job Description
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented full-time Roof Repair Technician.
Working independently under our direction, you will travel to job sites, make the necessary roofing repairs, and clean up the job site once you are finished.
Responsibilities
- Locate leaks and perform repairs and maintenance on all roof systems including (but not limited to) cold applied BUR, torch applied Modified Bitumen, EPDM, Heat Welded TPO/PVC Membranes, Coatings, and slope (shingles). Knowledge of these systems is necessary.
- Perform assigned work orders in a safe and timely manner, with strong attention to detail following all OSHA guidelines.
- Work well with others and be team oriented.
- Maintain professional interaction with all customers and fellow employees.
- Operate and maintain all company-issued equipment (such as vehicles, power tools, phones, hand tools, etc.). Must keep a clean, stocked truck.
- Complete your work orders on phone or tablet app; enter labor, material, and detailed description of leak deficiencies and repairs; take before, during and after pictures; and complete close-out procedures.
- Maintain constant communication with the superintendent or service manager throughout the day.
- Report, in detail, all safety-related injuries/accidents on the day of the incident to your immediate supervisor.
Abilities
- Have basic computer and smartphone skills.
- Possess good judgement and decision-making skills.
- Be reliable and have consistent attendance and punctuality.
- No fear of heights.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid drivers’ license.
- Successful background check, pre-employment drug test, and physical.
